What does not change is the standard. A hatchback gets the same two-bucket wash, the same decontamination, the same seam-level interior work as anything else. Do you detail older cars?
Regularly, and some of the most satisfying results come from them. Older vehicles need a more careful assessment — thinner clear coat, previous repairs, aged trim — so the approach is more conservative. We will tell you what is achievable rather than treating a fifteen-year-old daily driver like a new car.
What does a full car detail include?
Complete interior work including extraction and all hard surfaces, plus exterior wash, decontamination, wheels, trim, glass and protection. It is the reset that establishes a baseline, and it is what most people mean when they say they want their car detailed.
How long will it take?
A maintenance visit on a sedan is an hour or two. A full detail is typically half a day. Paint correction runs longer, often a full day, and a coating application takes longer again because of prep and cure requirements. You will get a realistic window when you book.
Can you work in an apartment parking lot?
In most cases yes, provided the property permits detailing on site. The setup is self-contained and uses modest water. It is worth checking with your building management first, since a handful of complexes have rules against vehicle work in their lots.
Do I need to be there?
Not for the whole appointment. Many customers leave the vehicle at their office or home and go about their day. We just need access to the vehicle and a clear space to work in, plus a way to reach you if something needs a decision.
